It is a new year and a new beginning in many ways.

I hope it is a good year for you.

I have been minister at Mornington for just a couple of months but I am enjoying being in the church and in the Mornington community.

I am also looking forward to new things we might be able to do. The church is looking for a new impetus. Recent years have seen a fairly steady decline and there are relatively few young people. If that was to continue, the church, some are saying, would not exist in five years time.

But that’s the challenge! And that’s what makes it fun!

No doubt we will plot our journey as this website develops alongside the life of the church. We would love you to journey with us – either by keeping track of what is happening, or by actually becoming part of this congregation. No one knows what the future holds but we are on a journey together that could be both daunting and exciting.
